Sandblasting
Sandblasting is the first step in the powder coating process, and is offered as a standalone service as well. Sandblasting strips your product of old paint or other materials and creates a perfect surface prepared for powder coating.
Sandblasting essentially has the same effect as sandpaper, but our blast room and machinery allows us to strip a part far more effectively and more quickly than one could ever do by hand. The process simply uses an abrasive material at a high pressure to rid your parts of all prior coatings and prepare them for powder or whatever else you choose to do. This service is always included with our powder coating service.
Powder Coating
Powder coating is one of the most durable forms of coating there is, especially when done by the experts at Powder Coating of Montana. It will far outlast paint and can be used on essentially all metals as well as a few other materials. If you are unsure if powder is the right choice for your job, simply give us a call and we will be happy to let you know what your best option is.
The process is quite interesting, and it is applied as a dry powder. It is applied electrostatically and then parts are baked in our oven to cure. Our blast room and oven are large enough to tackle almost any job you can throw at us.
We are proud to offer the largest selection of colors around. Check out the photo below to browse our wall of color options!
